What do I need to do after I change my password?

Faculty Staff Using Butler Computers:

•  If on campus, restart your computer now. Log in with your new password.
•  If you are off campus, you will use the old password until you bring the computer to campus and connect to the Butler network.

On All Devices (computers and smartphones):

• When you are on campus, forget the Butler Wi-Fi networks on all your devices. Reconnect to Butler Secure or BU Secure Wi-Fi using your new password.
•  If using a Mac, follow these instructions to update your keychain: How do I update my Butler password on my Mac (Keychain)?
• If you have any Butler printers added, delete them and re-add them using your new password. Follow these instructions: How do I uninstall or remove a printer from my computer?

If You Have a Network Drive Mapped for BUfiles or Thomas:
