Resolution Description | How to Unmap a Network Drive:
Windows:
- Click the Windows icon and type File Explorer.
- Click This PC.
- The network drive is located under network locations.
- Right-click the network drive (examples: \\thomas.butler.edu, group \\bufiles.butler.edu) and select Disconnect.
- Verify the network drive no longer appears in This PC.
MacOS:
- Open Finder.
- Click Go at the top of the screen
- Click Connect to Server...
- Click Browse.
- Scroll until you locate the desired network drive(typically thomas.butler.edu or bufiles).
- Hold the Control key and click on the network drive.
- Select eject.
