- Connect all gaming systems, Smart TVs, and streaming devices to the BU Guest/Open Wireless network.
- Please note any device that requires you to use an app on your smartphone to communicate directly to the device in question for setup will not work on the BU Guest/Open Wireless network for security and performance reasons (e.g., a wireless speaker or Google Home). If the device does not support the WPA2 Enterprise wireless method, it will also not be able to connect via Butler Secure wireless either. If a portable speaker is desired, Butler recommends one that is compatible with Bluetooth.
- For users who wish to connect their gaming system to Ethernet, plug the device into an Ethernet port if available.
