Microsoft 365 Copilot in Teams meetings helps you stay productive by summarizing discussions, tracking action items, and answering questions in real time. This guide explains how to enable Copilot during meetings, use its features effectively, and access post-meeting insights.
Before the Meeting
- Check Requirements
- You must have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license (the $18/month add-on).
- The meeting must be hosted by your organization. Copilot does not work in meetings organized by external tenants.
- Ensure transcription is enabled in meeting settings for full functionality.
- Enable Copilot
- When scheduling a meeting, go to Meeting Options and confirm that Copilot is allowed.
- Choose from:
- During and after the meeting (requires transcription).

During the Meeting
