Resolution Description | How to Forward Calls to a Call Queue in the RingCentral Desktop App:
- Open the RingCentral Desktop app
- Click on your profile in the top left corner. This should either be a circle with a picture in it or your initials
- Click the toggle switch next to Forward all calls
- In the pop-up window, click the drop-down under Forward to and select Show more options. By default all calls are forwarded to your voicemail unless you change this drop-down option.
- From the expanded list of options, click Call queue.
- In the next drop-down under Call queue, click and select the call queue your calls should be forwarded to. You can search by name or extension or scroll through the list to find the desired queue
- Check the box next to Specify start and end dates. If this forward is to be put in place indefinitely you can stop here and click Save in the lower right corner
- Use the boxes to input a start date and time for the forward as well as an end date and time for when calls should be forwarded.
- After the dates and times have been entered click Save in the lower right corner
- You will now see a red banner at the top of your desktop app that reads Forwarding all calls to "Call Queue Name." Next to that that are two options to either edit the forward or turn it off.
