Resolution Description
  1. Click the magnifying glass in the lower-left corner near the start menu or click the Search bar in the lower-left corner
  2. Type winver and hit enter.
  3. The pop-up window should display the name of the Windows version you are currently running (Windows 10 or Windows 11).
  4. The version of Windows is 4 characters. You will see one of the following:
    • For Windows 10: 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H2, or 22H2
    • For Windows 11: 22H2 or 23H2
