Resolution Description

To add your Butler email to the Mail app on an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Tap on Settings and then navigate or scroll down to Mail.
  2. Tap on Accounts then Add Account and then Microsoft Exchange. Note: you may get a security delay screen advising you that you need to wait one hour before you can proceed. Make note of the time and complete the remaining steps as soon as the time expires. 
  3. Enter your full Butler email address. For the description, feel free to write "Butler" for clarity purposes or leave it as default.
  4. Tap Next and then Sign In.
  5. On the Permissions requested page, tap Accept (if presented).
  6. Choose which options you would like to sync from your Butler account (Mail, Contacts, Calendar, etc.)
  7. Tap Save. 
  8. Your Butler email will appear in your Mail app.


If your mail is not syncing to the Mail app or you can't connect:

  1. Remove the account:
    • Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Exchange (Your Butler email account) > Account.
    • Click Delete Account.
    • Go through the steps above to readd the account. 
  2. Confirm your account settings by going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Exchange (Your Butler email account) > Account:
    1. ​The server should be: outlook.office365.com.
    2. The domain should be blank.
    3. Your username should be your full Butler email address.
    4. Tap Done.
