To Update Zoom on a Butler Owned Device:
Note: Updates to Zoom are managed by IT for Butler owned devices, so you may not see the "Check for Updates" option on your Butler computer. You can install the update before it's scheduled to install by following the instructions below (optional).
- Open Software Center from the Start menu.
- Click on Updates in the left column.
- Click on the available Zoom update. If there is no Zoom update listed, your application is up to date and no further action is needed.
- Click Install.
To Update Zoom on a Personally Owned Device:
- Sign in to the Zoom Client Application on your computer desktop (not via the web)
- Once the Zoom Meetings Client is launched, click on your user icon on the top right.
- From the drop down menu click Check for Updates.
- If new updates are available a message will appear that says Update Available.
- Click on Update to install.
