Why does a discussion comment not load in Canvas after I select "Click to view" from my email notification?

Students and instructors can delete replies on a discussion board. If you received a notification of a post but do not see the reply, the reply has likely been deleted. To view deleted replies:

1. Navigate to your discussion board.
2. Select the Show (eye) button.

3. Scroll down to see if posts were deleted.
