Students may encounter error messages when trying to access Collaboration documents in Canvas. Typically, with Office 365 documents, Canvas needs the student to re-login to Office 365 establish the connection between the two accounts. To troubleshoot, students should try one of the options below.
Option 1
- Navigate to office.com.
- Click Login.
- On the sign in screen, login with your Butler email and password.
- Navigate back to your Canvas course.
- Try accessing the Canvas Collaboration link again.
Option 2
- In the Course Navigation, select Office 365.
- In the Office 365 area, select Logout.
- After you are logged out, click Login and enter your Butler email and password.
- Select Collaborations from the Course Navigation.
- Try accessing the Collaborations link again.
If neither of these options work to gain access to the document, email
