TitleWhat should I consider when using polls in the classroom? (Instructors)
Resolution Description

Reusing Polls May Cause Loss of Data

If a poll is relaunched in a meeting, the poll report will only display the last poll occurrence. If you know you will need to launch the same poll twice and want both sets of data, consider creating a second poll with the same questions as the original to avoid re-launching.

Example: You set up a recurring Zoom meeting and take a daily poll for Attendance. If you only have one poll, you will need to relaunch it for each class, which will overwrite previous data. Either download the results after each class session or create a copy for each day.

Zoom Version Matters

In order to use advanced polls and quizzes, Zoom users (both the host/instructor and students) need to use Zoom version 5.8.3 or higher. Standard polls require 5.5.0 or higher.
