Zoom has two different meeting spaces: meetings and webinars. A Zoom webinar is like a virtual Clowes event; typically there is one speaker or a panel speaking to a large crowd. A Zoom meeting, on the other hand, can be thought of as a virtual conference table where participants can collaborate, share materials, and do group work. The typical Zoom experience at Butler takes place in a Zoom meeting; however, for large or one-to-many events, a webinar license can be requested. Below are some of the key differences between a Zoom meeting and webinar.
