Google Workspace provides an option for 2-factor authentication. Butler has migrated the authentication process consistent with other applications to Auth0, Butler's standard single-sign-on application with 2FA enabled. Users who have already setup 2FA using Google 2FA will need to turn off 2FA inside Google otherwise they will have to provide multiple verification steps.
Turn off Google 2FA:
- Log in to Google Workspace
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner
- Click "Manage your Google account"
- Click "Security" in the left menu
- Scroll down, if 2-step verification is turned on, you will see a green checkmark
- Click on "2-Step Verification"
- Click the "Turn off" button
- Click "Turn off" on the verification popup
