At Butler University, we strive to create a challenging, yet supportive, academic environment for our students, and we care about your own experiences in the courses we offer. At some point between now and the end of the semester, each of your instructors will provide time in class for you to complete a survey about your experiences in your courses.
You will receive an e-mail with the links to complete your course evaluation(s) at the start of the survey period. Please wait to complete the course survey until the time in each course when your instructor asks all students to complete the survey.
You may complete these surveys in Canvas rather than clicking the links in your e-mail using this process:

Login to Canvas with your Butler credentials.

Select the course entitled: Class Climate Course Surveys. If the course is not listed on your dashboard, you may need to select Courses in the menu on the left to find it. (Class Climate is the tool we use to administer course surveys.)

You will be presented with instructions for completing the survey(s). You will click on the link at the bottom of the page. On the Class Climate page, click on the green arrow for that instructor’s course and complete the survey for that individual course. You will be able to complete each survey on your phone, computer, or tablet.

Information about when the survey closes for a particular course is given next to the green arrow for surveys which are still open.

Butler University uses your survey responses in multiple ways to maintain and enhance the quality of the educational experiences we offer at Butler. Your responses will remain anonymous and will only be shared with your instructors after they have submitted final student grades for this term.
