Only administrators with "publish" level access in Panopto can reassign ownership of a video. If you do not have this level of access, please contact the Help Desk for assistance.
- Login to butler.hosted.panopto.com
- Find the Panopto video that needs to have the ownership changed
- Click on the Gear icon to get to the Settings of the video
- Next to the "Owner" section, click Edit next to the name of the current Owner
- From the drop down menu, select the desired person to become the new owner of the video
- Note: this person must be added as a Creator to the video before they will be available for you to make them an owner.
- Save your changes
