Users are able to access OneDrive in three ways: via computer, online via the web, or via an app installed on a mobile device (such as a smartphone or tablet).
Method 1 - Via Computer
Windows 10/11
Prerequisite: OneDrive application for Windows installed. If you have not already done so,

here for instructions on how to install and sign in to the OneDrive application for Windows.
- Click the Windows logo in the taskbar (usually along the bottom of your screen)
- Type File Explorer
- Double-click File Explorer to open
- In the left pane, double-click OneDrive - Butler University
- Your files will be displayed

Apple MacOS
Prerequisite: OneDrive application for Mac installed. If you have not already done so, click
here for instructions on how to install the OneDrive application for MacOS.
- Open Finder
- OneDrive should be listed in the Favorites section at the top
- Double-click to view your files
- Optional: to create a desktop alias for Mac OSX, click here for instructions.
Method 2 - Via the Web
Online Web Access - Office.com
- In a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc...) go to www.office.com
- Sign in using your Butler email address and password
- Click the 9 dot icon over Home on the left side of the screen
- Click OneDrive
- Click My files on the left side of the screen
- Your files will be displayed
