How to Change Video Settings in Zoom to Improve the Connection

Video settings to adjust for a better connection in Zoom:

• Use standard video instead of HD

  1. Click the caret next to the camera icon that says Stop Video or Start Video.

  2. Click Video Settings.

  3. On the right side of the pop-up window, uncheck the box next to Enable HD.

  4. Exit the pop-up window.

• Do not show large numbers of participants' videos in Zoom simultaneously

  1. Access the Video Settings again.

  2. On the right side of the pop-up window, uncheck the box next to Display up to 49 participants per screen in Gallery View.

  3. Exit the pop-up window.
