Student responses to group discussions cannot be viewed on the main discussion forum. Canvas creates a separate forum for each group; instructors must navigate to each group's discussion forum to view student responses. This is true even when only one group is assigned to the discussion.
To view student responses:
- Select Discussions from the course navigation.
- Select the discussion you wish to view.
- At the top of the main discussion forum, you will see a list of the groups in the blue informational box.
- Select one of the groups to view that group's discussion forum.
- Repeat steps 1-4 to view forums for the other groups.
