How do I submit a Turnitin assignment for a student? (Instructors)

Instructors cannot submit student documents through the Turnitin assignment in Canvas. Instead they can upload them at Turnitin.com

Note that if possible, students should submit their own Turnitin assignments. This method bypasses the Turnitin integrity attestation and user agreement that students agree to prior to submitting assignments. Do not use this method if a student has not yet submitted a Turnitin assignment for themself.
 

1. Navigate to turnitin.com and select Log in.
2. Click Reset Password and follow the instructions, including entering your email password.
3. Return to turnitin.com and login.
4. Click on the course name.
5. Locate the assignment and select More actions.
6. Select Submit.
7. Complete the on-screen prompts to upload or copy/paste the document.
