With automatic recordings, only Screen Capture and Audio will be recorded. To record the classroom Video Camera or Document Camera, create a
manual Panopto recording during each class session instead of requesting automatic recordings. Additionally, when Panopto automatic recordings are in progress, you will not be able to use Zoom for live-streaming or the Panopto Recorder for manual recordings.
To request automatic Panopto recordings of each meeting for a course in an entire semester, click on the
Create New Case button on this page.
Note: Faculty must have created the course folder in Panopto prior to requesting automatic recording. To learn how to create a course folder, see How to Provision Panopto in Canvas (Instructors).
