Automatically Create Groups:
- Go to People in the course navigation.
- Click the Add Group Set button in the upper-right corner.
- Name the group set and select the Split Students into ___ Groups option.
- Check the box requiring group members to be in the same section.
- Save the group set.

Manually Create Groups:
- Go to People in the course navigation.
- Click the Add Group Set button in the upper-right corner.
- Name the group set and select the I’ll Create Groups Manually option.
- Click the Add Group button, name the group, decide the group member limit, and click Save.
- Repeat step 4 as many times as needed.
- Add students to groups by dragging and dropping their names into a group. This can also be done by clicking the plus sign and selecting the desired group.
