Resolution Description

Automatically Create Groups:

  1. Go to People in the course navigation.
  2. Click the Add Group Set button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Name the group set and select the Split Students into ___ Groups option.
  4. Check the box requiring group members to be in the same section.
  5. Save the group set.

Manually Create Groups:

  1. Go to People in the course navigation.
  2. Click the Add Group Set button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Name the group set and select the I’ll Create Groups Manually option.
  4. Click the Add Group button, name the group, decide the group member limit, and click Save.
  5. Repeat step 4 as many times as needed.
  6. Add students to groups by dragging and dropping their names into a group. This can also be done by clicking the plus sign and selecting the desired group.
