How do I look up Butler phone numbers and email addresses?

Ways to Find a Phone Number or Email Address:

• Butler Online Directory (note: site contains faculty, staff and department information only; must have Butler credentials):
  1. Go to directory.butler.edu.
  2. Log in with your Butler email address and password. 
  3. Search by first name, last name, username, department, or title. Enter at least 3 characters.
• www.butler.edu (faculty, staff, and department information only)
  • Use the search button to submit search terms, including faculty and staff names.
  • Click Directory to limit search results
• Outlook Client (desktop app):
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. On the Home menu, locate the Search People box (on the Find tab),
  3. Type in the name of the person.
  4. Alternatively, click on the Address Book and type in the Search box OR click on Advanced Find.
• Outlook on the Web (via web browser):
  1. In a web browser, go to https://office.com.
  2. Sgn in, then click on the Outlook icon on the left. 
  3. Type part of the name in the Search box at the top of the screen.
• RingCentral (note: only faculty and staff can access)
  1. Open RingCentral. 
  2. In the search box at the top, type in the desired name or department.

Ways to Find the Phone Number or Email Address for a Department:

• Go to www.butler.edu. In the search box, type the name of the department. Most departments have their phone number listed on the bottom of their web page.  You can also click Directory after you search to limit your search results.
