When accessing files from a Google folder embedded in Canvas, you may see an error message saying "You need permission" and indicating that you are logged into a non-Butler Google account. To access the files within Canvas:
- Logout of all Google accounts
- Open a new Chrome window or tab.
- Click on the Google Account icon that appears below the toolbar.
- Select Sign out of all accounts button at the bottom of the list of accounts.
- Log back into only your Butler Google account.
- Navigate back to the Canvas page with the embedded Google folder. You should now see all files contained in the folder.
If you still do not see the files in Canvas, you may need to verify with the Google folder owner that you have permissions
in Google Drive to see the folder and its contents.
