Resolution Description
Because Panopto videos cannot play in the Canvas Teacher for Android app, when editing a page in the Android app, the page saves plain text instead of the videos. This bug has been reported to Canvas Support; please contact the office of Online Education and Educational Technology (OEET@butler.edu) if you would like to be notified when the bug is fixed.


Revert a Page to a Prior Version

Canvas retains page history and pages can be reverted back to prior versions. If you edited a page and noticed that your videos are missing, first take note of your edits. Then follow these steps to restore an older version of the page:
  1. On the Canvas page, select the three-dot menu.
  2. Select View Page History.
  3. The Revision History panel will appear on the right of the screen. Click one of the dates to preview that page version.
  4. Select Restore this revision.
  5. Close the Revision History panel by selecting the X.
