To download a Zoom cloud recording:
- Go to zoom.butler.edu, click Sign In, and then log in with your Butler email address and password.
- Click on the Recordings button on the left-side menu.
- Locate the recording that you wish to download, then click on the entry under File Size that lists the number of files associated with the recording (generally, this number is 4).
- On the next screen, you can choose to download all the related files, or singular files:
- If you want to download only the video recording, it is the file named Shared screen with speaker view.
- You may also select from an Audio only file, the Audio transcript (best practice if you have students with a stated need for transcription), or a Chat file (a transcript of the chat window).
- Once you have downloaded the file(s), upload the file(s) to Panopto or Canvas Studio for storage and for captioning (if needed).
