Option 1: Record in Zoom and Upload to Panopto
Complete the two sections documented on the
Recording a Zoom Meeting and Submitting on Canvas Guide to schedule and host/record a Zoom meeting. During the meeting, one partner should screen share the presentation.
Once the presentation is recorded, upload to Panopto:
- Select Panopto Recordings in your course.
- Navigate to the Panopto assignment folder.
- Select the Create button.
- Select Upload Media.
- Navigate to the "zoom_0.mp4" file on your computer.
- Close the upload window once you see the green checkmark indicating the upload is complete.
Option 2: Record Panopto Videos Separately and Splice Together
This option works best if your partner is presenting the first half of the presentation and you are doing the second half (or vice versa). If you are both explaining content on each slide, use the Zoom option.
Each participant should record their portion of the presentation. Follow the Panopto Recording instructions on the
How to Use Panopto to Record Videos and Upload Them to Canvas Assignments & Discussions (Student Version) article.
Once the two videos are recorded, splice them together by following these instructions:
