How do I change how SpeedGrader sorts students in Canvas? (Instructors)

By default, SpeedGrader sorts students alphabetically. Instructors can change the settings to sort by submission date or submission status (needs grading, not submitted, etc.) instead.

1. In SpeedGrader, select the Settings (gear) icon.
2. Select Options. 
3. Click by student last name (alphabetically) and choose a new sort option.
4. Select Save Settings.
