How do I allow my Panopto recordings to be downloaded?

To allow all recordings within a folder available to download: 

1. Open a web browser and navigate to butler.hosted.panopto.com
2. Input your Butler username and password 
3. Use the 'Search All Folders' text box on the left side of the screen to find the appropriate folder, then click it 
4. To make all recordings in the folder downloadable, click the gear icon (Folder Settings if you hover over it) in the upper right portion of the screen
5. From the left menu click Settings 
6. Under Downloads, use the drop down to choose the setting you'd like 
7. Click the X in the upper right portion of the screen 

 

To make downloads available for a specific recording:

1. Hover over the recording you would like to change settings for
2. Click the gear icon with 'Settings' next to it
3. Scroll down to Downloads and select the desired setting using the drop down menu

*The default for folders is RSS feeds are ON/downloads OFF
