Resolution Description
  1. Create an assignment
    1. In Course Navigation, click Assignments.
    2. Click the +Assignment button.
    3. Enter the assignment title and description, if applicable.
  2. In the Points field, enter the point value for your assignment.
  3. If applicable, select the group in which you want your assignment to appear.
  4. In the Submission Type drop-down field, select On paper.
  5. Click Save.
Note: If you add an assessment in the Quizzes area, Canvas assumes you will conduct an online quiz. Students may be able to interact with the quiz online and overwrite any manual grades entered in the gradebook. Therefore, it is important to add paper quizzes and tests under the Assignments area.
