Most Panopto folders only have one Creator (the instructor of the course). A Creator can add other collaborators in the Creator role who can create, edit, share, and delete videos in the folder. Common use cases include a collaborator adding captions to existing content and cross-institution collaborators collecting content in one location.
Note there is a separate procedure to make students Creators to complete class assignments. View

Add a Creator
- Navigate to your Panopto folder. Select the Share icon in the upper right of the screen.
- Under "People and groups", type in the name or username of your collaborator. Select the user that begins Canvas\username.
- If you are adding more than one collaborator, repeat step 2 for each person.
- Change the permission setting to Creator, located to the right of the usernames.
- Select Send. Your collaborators now have access to the folder. You can choose whether they receive an email notification (with the option to add a message if yes) by leaving "Send an email to notify people about this video" enabled or by disabling this option.
Note: Items located in your personal folder cannot be shared. They will need to be moved to a different folder entirely, or you can create a folder within your personal folder and move the content to it. For more information, view the Panopto Support documentation
