How do I add ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) captions to a Panopto recording?

PLEASE NOTE: Any Panopto video uploaded or created after Fall 2020 will already have ASR captions.  No additional steps are required.
 

1. Locate your Panopto video and select Edit.
2. In the Panopto Editor, select Captions from the left-hand menu.
3. Select Import Captions and choose Import Automatic Captions.
