How Do I Control a PTZ Camera in the Classroom?

Controlling a PTZ camera 

1. Click either the Options or the Camera button at the bottom of the touch panel, near the volume bar.

   • If the touch panel had an Options button, you may need to hit the Camera button on the Options page to see the camera controls. 

   • If there are two cameras in the room, select the camera you wish to control.

2. Make sure to view the camera through Zoom or Panopto on the PC/Mac while you adjust your preferred shot.

3. Most rooms have 2 Preset buttons available.  Use these to select a predetermined close-up of the lectern or a wider shot that captures the front of the classroom.

4. If the view still needs to be changed, use the arrows to pan and tilt the camera so it points at the desired area of the classroom.

5. Use the Zoom + feature to zoom in and the Zoom - to zoom out to capture exactly what needs to be on camera.
