Getting Started with Panopto

Faculty who are new users to Panopto have several resources at their disposal to begin learning the tool. We recommend starting with these videos and articles.

Students

Students need the Creator role in Panopto in order to make Panopto recordings. This role is given to students automatically when instructors create a Panopto assignment folder (housed within the course folder). If you are a student and do not have access to create a Panopto recording, contact the office of Online Education and Educational Technology at OEET@butler.edu.
