Does Canvas have a trash or recycle bin to recover deleted course material?

Canvas' version of a trash can or recycle bin is called "undelete." Not all deleted items are captured in the "undelete" area.

Undelete

To access Canvas' undelete for your course:

1. From anywhere in your course, erase everything in your address bar after the course ID.
2. Type "/undelete" after the course ID and press Enter/Return.
   • The URL should be "https://butler.instructure.com/courses/XXXX/undelete" where XXXX is your course ID.
3. Locate the deleted item and select Restore.
