Default Guest Permissions in Microsoft Teams

When you add a guest (non-Butler user) to a Microsoft Team, the guest account has permission to do the following:

Team Owner Control:

Navigate to "Manage Team>Settings>Guest Permissions" then toggle your preference. 

1. Allow guests to create and update channels
2. Allow guests to delete channels

Butler University environment settings:

The following settings are set for all Butler University Teams:
Calling:

1. Make private calls is turned off

Below is a list of all the settings available and are all enabled. 
Meeting:

1. IP video
2. Screen sharing mode (entire screen)
3. Meet Now

Messaging:

1. Edit sent messages
2. Delete sent messages
3. Delete chat
4. Chat
5. Giphy in conversations
6. Giphy content rating (allow all content)
7. Memes in conversations
8. Stickers in conversations
9. Immersive reader for messages
