Standard Computers (Desktops/Laptops/Tablets), Monitors, and Accessories
When accessing standards documents, if prompted, please log in using your Butler email address and password. Do NOT share the document directly from the standards. Please only share this link with other co-workers.
To order equipment from this list, please click on the Technology Replacement/Purchase option at the top of ask.butler.edu (this site - note that you must be logged in to view the Technology Replacement/Purchase button). This will take you to a list of equipment to purchase. Select what you need and enter any additional information in the text box (who it should go to). This information will be forwarded to your Replacement Cycle Coordinator for approval and to add the budget code. Who are the Department Coordinators for the Replacement Cycle?
Standard iPads
To order an iPad, please create a case for Information Technology (click Create New Case on this page) asking for a quote on a specific iPad. IT will build this quote with Apple and send it directly back to you. You will need to submit a requisition with the quote and reference your IT case #. Once the iPad arrives, IT will let you know when it is available for pickup.
Non-Standard Items (not on the Computer Standard list above)
- For any items that are NOT on the computer standards sheet linked above, the user must work with Purchasing Services (purchasingservices@butler.edu; 317-940-9000).
- University Procurement Policies state that office equipment (including computer and technology/media-related equipment) purchases require a PO. These types of purchases need to be approved by IT and Purchasing prior to the purchase.
