Google Chrome Stuck on Paused Error

1. Proceed to the Chrome homepage(displays the search bar in the middle).
2. Click the Google profile icon at the top right of the page(not the one to the right of the puzzle piece).
3. Click Sign out of all accounts.
4. Once signed out, click the three verticle dots at the top right of the screen.
5. Click Settings.
6. On the left sidebar, click Reset settings.
7. Click Restore settings to their original defaults.
8. Click Reset settings.
9. Sign back in to the Google account.
