Butler does not allow personal wireless printers to be used over Wi-Fi on campus due to wirelss network interference.
Students are allowed to bring a wireless printer to campus if they choose, but they must connect the personal printer directly to their computer via USB when printing (rather than printing over Wi-Fi).
Network printers are provided in every residence hall, the libraries, Starbucks, computer labs, and other spaces. Many students don't feel the need to bring a printer to campus because of the availability of network printers. For more information, go to
