Can I rename a Team or a Channel in Microsoft Teams?
Resolution Description
Butler IT advises against renaming an existing Microsoft Team or Channel within a Team.
The issue is that, if you change it, it will change in some places and not others and cause syncing issues on the back end. Be sure you know what you want your Team and Channel to be named before creating them.
