Resolution Description | PRIOR TO UPGRADING:
- CRITICAL: before proceeding, close all Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc), including Teams.
UPGRADING MICROSOFT OFFICE:
- Open Self Service:
- Use spotlight to search for Self Service.
- Self Service is located in \Applications\Utilities on your Mac.
- On the left-side navigation, under Browse, click Faculty/Staff.
- Locate Microsoft (Office) 365.
- Click Install to install Microsoft (Office) 365:
- Installation\upgrade will just take a few minutes (usually less than 5 minutes) depending on your computer and location.
- Once complete, the button will change to state Reinstall.
- Close Self Service.
- Upon first launch of an Office application, you will be prompted to Login/Sign In. Be sure to choose Work/School Butler account if prompted.
