Certain classrooms are called Active Learning classrooms and allow the mediation system to display different sources from various locations in the room. Here are various options you may have available on the touch panel:
“Source Mode:” button: Select this button and choose between the following selections:
- Audio Only: Select to only hear audio from a source. No projector(s) OR TV monitors will be powered on.
- Breakout Mode Projector(s) Only: Select to only power on the projector(s) and NOT the TV monitors
- All Displays: Select to power on both the projector(s) and the TV monitors.
“Tables” button: Select this button to source from various “breakout” tables (TV monitors) in the room. A diagram of available tables (TV monitors) will appear. Connect a laptop to the HDMI cable provided at the table (TV Monitor) then select that table at the touch panel.
“Advanced Routing” button: Select the “Options” button in the bottom right of touch panel to bring up the Options menu. From here a user can select “Advanced Routing” and then proceed to route from any source to any destination. “Lectern Sources” appear in the middle of the screen only when a user selects “Lectern” as a source.
"Breakout Disabled / Enabled” button: Select to allow laptop connection at all breakout tables to display on their respective monitors. Toggle again to return to normal table monitor display mode.
“Display Mode Basic/Projector/Tables/Advanced” button: Select this button then choose between the four options:
- Basic: Project source to all displays
- Projector: Project source to projector and rear wall monitor (NO tables)
- Tables: Project to tables and rear wall monitor (NO projector)
- Advanced: Routes two sources (can be the same source), one to the projector AND one to rear wall monitor and tables
